Why to watch: The schools are playing for just the second time after a multiple-decades long hiatus in the regular season. That drought ended with Delta’s 35-6 win last season. Previously, the schools hadn’t met since a sectional tournament contest in 2005, won 28-21 in three overtimes by Delta. The Eagles are 3-0 in season-openers under coach Chris Overholt. The Bearcats are led by first-year head coach Darrick Lee.
