SCHOFIELD –Matt Bullis announced on Twitter on Friday that he is resigning his position as head girls basketball coach at D.C. Everest High School.


Bullis compiled a 113-57 record in 11 seasons for D.C. Everest, winning outright Wisconsin Valley Conference titles 2014, 2015 and 2017, and tying for the championship with Stevens Point in 2018.


Bullis led D.C. Everest to the WIAA State Girls Basketball Tournament in 2015, where the Evergreens reached the Division 1 championship game before losing to Milwaukee Divine Savior Holy Angels, their only loss of the season in a 27-1 campaign.


“Being the head coach at D.C. Everest was a dream, an honor, and one that I never took for granted,” Bullis said in his Twitter statement.
