COLBY GIRLS BASKETBALL CRUISES PAST GRANTON

GRANTON – All 11 Colby players that saw action scored as the Hornets cruised to a 60-21 win over Granton in a Cloverbelt Conference East Division girls basketball game Tuesday night at Granton High School.


Colby raced out to a 41-12 lead by halftime and held Granton to nine points in the second half to win going away.


Hailey Voelker had 15 points and Lexi Underwood added 13 to lead the Colby offense. Olivia Vollrath had a team-high eight rebounds for the Hornets.


Colby improves to 8-4 overall and 6-2 in the Cloverbelt East with the win. The Hornets host Marshfield Columbus Catholic on Friday.
