COLBY BOYS BASKETBALL TOPS SPENCER IN HIGH SCORING CLOVERBELT EAST FINALE

COLBY – Richard Streveler poured in 35 points to lead the Colby boys basketball team to a wild 97-85 win over Spencer in a Cloverbelt Conference East Division contest Friday night at Colby High School.
Colby led 47-40 at halftime and put up 50 in the second half to earn the 12-point win.
Mateo Lopez added 20 points and Brody Decker scored 14 for the Hornets, who are now 15-5 and finish the Cloverbelt East season at 11-3 and in third place.
Spencer drops to 6-17 and ends its Cloverbelt East schedule with a 4-10 record. Statistics for the Rockets were not provided.
Colby hosts Stratford for a nonconference game Monday. The game will be live at zaleskisports.com. Both teams will host Cloverbelt Conference crossover games on Thursday to finish their regular-season schedules.
