COLBY BOYS BASKETBALL NAILS 14 3'S, ROLLS PAST SPENCER

SPENCER – The Colby boys basketball team drilled 14 3-pointers and blew past Spencer 82-53 in a Cloverbelt Conference East Division matchup Friday at Spencer High School.
Brody Decker made five 5 3-pointers and scored a team-high 20 points, and Kaden Wiese added four 3s and 18 points for the Hornets, who improve to 7-2 overall and 5-1 in the Cloverbelt East, one game behind first-place Neillsville.
Colby plays a nonconference game at Abbotsford on Monday. Spencer (3-10, 2-5 Cloverbelt East) is off until Thursday when it hosts Phillips in a nonconference tilt.
