GILMAN – Six Colby players scored in double figures as the Hornets crushed Gilman 88-18 in a Cloverbelt Conference East Division boys basketball game Thursday night at Gilman High School.


Colby is now 2-1 overall and 2-0 in the Cloverbelt East, while Gilman falls to 0-3 overall and in conference play.


Richard Streveler had 16 points, Brody Decker and Joseph Streveler each scored 13, and Kaden Wiese and Tevin Rue both had 11 for Colby, which jumped out to a 55-11 lead by halftime to take full control.


Colby hosts Greenwood in a conference game Tuesday.
