BOHN GOES OVER 1,000 CAREER POINTS AS ROYALS GET HOME WIN

SPORTSDESK - Assumption Catholic senior, Madalyn Bohn, scored her 1,000th career point in a win over Athens on Thursday night. The Royals took care of the Blue Jays 56-27 and Bohn took care of 1k on a made basket with her team leading early in the first half, 8-4. The team's 10th point and her 1,001st point gave way to an on-court celabration for Bohn, who is now the sixth Assumption Royals girls basketball player to achieve 1,000 career poins.

Bohn went on to score a game high 24 points, now 1,011 career points, and the Royals got a much needed conference win over Athens.

Assumption had lost three straight coming into the home contest vs Athens on Thursday night. Now the Royals will look to finish strong over their last three regular season games and get momentum for post season play.
