BLOOMER DEFEATS COLBY IN CLOVERBELT BOYS BASKETBALL THIRD-PLACE CROSSOVER

COLBY – Bloomer outscored Colby by 16 points in the second half to surge past the Hornets for a 60-43 win in the third-place game of the Cloverbelt Conference boys basketball crossovers on Thursday at Colby High School.
Bloomer (16-5) led 22-21 at halftime before outscoring the Hornets 38-22 in the second half to earn the victory.
Domanyck Schwarzenberger had 18 points to lead the Blackhawks.
Richard Streveler had 15 points for Colby (15-7).
Colby hosts Abbotsford in a WIAA Division 4 regional quarterfinal on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
