PITTSVILLE – Wisconsin Rapids Assumption pulled past Pittsville for a 3-0 win in a nonconference volleyball match Thursday night at Pittsville High School.


The Royals won 25-21, 25-15, 25-19.


Autumn Moon had eight kills, and Maleia Kolo and Madi Abbott each added seven for Assumption. Jayden Glaza and Kolo both had six service aces, Kendall Duellman had a team-high 25 digs, and Glaza had 18 assists as well for the Royals.


Reese Grimm had four kills, Kaylee Jacobson had seven digs, and Angel Millard had five assists for Pittsville. Sara Lacoursiere added three kills and six digs, and Madisyn Schooley had three blocks for the Panthers.


Assumption will play at a Marawood Conference Crossover Challenge at Edgar on Saturday. Pittsville’s next match is Tuesday at home against Wild Rose.
