WISCONSIN RAPIDS – Cristin Casey had three hits and an RBI to pace the Assumption softball team to a quick 15-0 win over Prentice in a game called after three innings due to the 15-run rule.

Kendall Schmidt and Maleia Kolo each added a single, a triple and two runs scored, and Schmidt drove in two for the Royals.

Ava Schill threw three perfect innings to earn the win as Assumption improves to 2-0.

Assumption hosts Stratford in its Marawood Conference South Division opener Monday at 4:45 p.m. The game will be broadcast live at zaleskisports.com.
