ASSUMPTION GIRLS SOCCER BLOWS OUT ARCADIA

ARCADIA – The Wisconsin Rapids Assumption girls soccer team continued its dominance this season with a 10-0 rout of Arcadia in a Mid-Western Wisconsin Conference game Tuesday at Arcadia High School.


Assumption outshot Arcadia 26-0, and improves to 16-0 overall and 11-0 in the Mid-Western Wisconsin Conference.


Kendall Duellman had a hat trick, and Clara Kubis and Sarah Shaw added two goals apiece for the Royals.


“We are playing some good possession soccer at this point our season and our defense has been outstanding stopping scoring threats and keeping the ball on the attacking half,” Assumption coach Jim Wendels said.


Assumption plays at Amherst on Friday at 7 p.m. The game will be broadcast at zaleskisports.com.
