AMHERST BASEBALL SOLVES GREENWOOD, FINSHES 1-1 IN SATURDAY TRIANGULAR

ROSHOLT - The Amherst Falcons baseball team picked up a win over the Greenwood Indians on Saturday in the Rosholt Triangular. Amherst finished 1-1 in the triangular with the 7-5 win over Greenwood and a 5-1 loss to host Rosholt. Greenwood left the triangular with two losses, also falling to Rosholt by a score of 7-2.
In the win over Greenwood it was starting pitcher Ben Lee going four innings and striking out six. For Greenwood, Fletcher Bredlau was the losing pitcher of record.
Jonny Ballinger and Matt Glodowski each had hits for Amherst in the win. Westin Schmitz and Bredlau were a combined five for seven from the plate for Greenwood.
