ALMOND-BANCROFT GIRLS BASKETBALL STYMIES ROSHOLT

ROSHOLT – Almond-Bancroft held Rosholt to 17 percent shooting and went on to defeat the Hornets 37-22 in a Central Wisconsin Conference South Division girls basketball game Friday night at Rosholt High School.


Almond-Bancroft doubled up Rosholt 22-11 in the first half was able to hang on from there to improve to 11-8 overall and 5-4 in the CWC South.


Mikala Seymour and Riley Stiles each had eight points to lead the Eagles.


Sydney Trzebiatowski led Rosholt (3-11, 2-6 CWC South) with six points as the Hornets were held to 7-for-41 shooting in the loss.


Rosholt hosts Iola-Scandinavia in a nonconference game Monday at 6 p.m.
