KETTLE MORAINE – Mequon Homestead jumped out to a huge lead in the first half and cruised to a 71-45 victory over Stevens Point at the Kettle Moraine Girls Basketball Thanksgiving Showcase on Friday at Kettle Moraine High School.
Homestead dominated play early, taking a 35-12 advantage by halftime and went on to the 26-point win.
Emma Jossie had 13 points and Avery Lilly added 12 for Stevens Point, which falls to 0-3 this season.
