SPASH BOYS BASKETBALL STORMS BACK IN SECOND HALF TO DEFEAT NORTHLAND PINES

STEVENS POINT – The Stevens Point boys basketball team used a dominant second half to pull past Northland Pines 52-44 in a nonconference game Monday night at Stevens Point Area Senior High.
Northland Pines (15-6) led 28-21 at halftime before SPASH turned the tables, outscoring the Eagles 31-16 in the second half to earn the victory and improve to 14-9 this season.
Nate Streveler had 22 points and James Jacobs added 17 points for the Panthers.
Stevens Point will finish its regular-season schedule with a home nonconference game against Prescott on Friday.
