RIB LAKE BASEBALL SHUTS OUT ABBOTSFOFD/COLBY

ABBOTSFORD – Rib Lake broke open a scoreless game with two runs in the top of the sixth inning, added two more in the seventh, and shutout Abbotsford/Colby 4-0 in the Marawood Conference North Division baseball opener for both teams on Tuesday at Red Arrow Park.
Carter Scheithauer threw the complete game shutout for the Redmen, striking out 10 and walking no one as he scattered three singles.
Logan Blomberg and Jordan Yanko had RBIs for Rib Lake, which improves to 2-2 overall.
Hunter Soyk struck out five and allowed two runs and four walks to take the loss for Abbotsford/Colby (3-2 overall).
The two teams will play again Thursday at Rib Lake starting at 4:45 p.m.
