PITTSVILLE – The Pittsville wrestling team won a pair of matches at its home triangular meet on Thursday at Pittsville High School.

The Panthers defeated Manawa through a tiebreaker after tying 30-30, and Kickapoo/La Farge 33-27, to improve to 6-2 in dual meets this season.

Winners by pin against Manawa were Archer Kissner (160 pounds) and Nate Esser (132).

Esser also had a pin at 138 pounds against Kickapoo/La Farge, as did Hunter McDaniel at 152. Easton Dammann also had a win by decision at 145 in the victory.

Racyn Schooley, Dryden Luther and Kadin Fox both won a pair of matches by forfeit for Pittsville.

Pittsville will compete at the Hillsboro Invitational on Saturday.
