NEENAH HOLDS OFF STEVENS POINT GIRLS BASKETBALL

NEENAH – The Stevens Point girls basketball team fell to 0-2 on the young 2021-22 season with a 69-63 loss to Neenah on Friday night at Neenah High School.


The Rockets, playing their season opener, led 38-33 at halftime and held off Stevens Point to the end.


Emma Jossie scored a team-high 25 points, and Zoe Fink drilled six 3-pointers and added 19 points for Stevens Point. Jossie also had eight rebounds.


Stevens Point will take a week off before playing Mequon Homestead at the Kettle Moraine Thanksgiving Showcase next Friday, Nov. 26.
