MOSINEE GIRLS BASKETBALL IMPROVES TO 9-0 WITH ROAD WIN AT RHINELANDER

RHINELANDER – The Mosinee girls basketball team improved to 9-0 this season with a 67-48 win over Rhinelander in a Great Northern Conference matchup Friday night at Rhinelander High School.
Kate Fitzgerald scored 20 points and Jenna Placek added 18 for Mosinee, which remains perfect and goes to 4-0 in the GNC.
Annika Johnson and Ava Lamers both had 13 points for Rhinelander, which falls to 6-2 and 1-1 in conference play.
Mosinee plays a nonconference game at Edgar on Tuesday.
