MOSINEE GIRLS BASKETBALL DEFEATS MEDFORD TO REMAIN UNDEFEATED

MEDFORD – The Mosinee girls basketball team won its 14th-straight game and remains undefeated this season after defeating Medford 56-47 in a Great Northern Conference game Tuesday at Medford Area Senior High.
Kate Fitzgerald scored 16 points, and Jenna Placek and Adalyn Lehman each chipped in 12 points for Mosinee, which is now 14-0 overall and 5-0 in the GNC.
Bryn Fronk and Rynn Ruesch each had eight points to lead Meford (3-6, 2-3 GNC).
Mosinee hosts Lakeland (5-1) for a battle of Great Northern Conference leaders on Friday at 7:15 p.m. The game will be live-streamed at zaleskisports.com.
