MERRILL – The Marshfield Junior Devils American Legion baseball team fell to Merrill 10-7 on Thursday, dropping its season record to 8-10.

Merrill scored seven runs in the first two innings, and after Marshfield rallied to tie the game with a three-run sixth, Merrill came back with three of its own to grab the win.

Brock Bennington went 3-for-3 with three runs scored and two RBIs, and Ian Brown had two doubles and an RBI for Marshfield.

Marshfield hosts Stevens Point for a doubleheader starting at 1 p.m. on Sunday at Jack Hackman Field.
