MARSHFIELD FOOTBALL PLAYER WYATT LEMOINE VOTED AS NOVEMBER HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETE OF THE MONTH

Marshfield High School football player Wyatt LeMoine has been voted as the MarshfieldAreaSports.com & Zaleski Sports November High School Athlete of the Month.
The High School Athlete of the Month Award main sponsor for the 2020-21 school year is Awards ‘n’ More of Wisconsin Rapids. The monthly award will continue through June 2021, and the winner of the MarshfieldAreaSports.com & Zaleski Sports High School Athlete of the Year will be announced in July.
Varsity athletes from the following high schools are eligible to be nominated for the award: Abbotsford, Assumption, Athens, Auburndale, Colby, Columbus Catholic, Edgar, Granton, Greenwood, Loyal, Marathon, Marshfield, Neillsville, Owen-Withee, Pacelli, Pittsville, Spencer, Stevens Point, Stratford, Thorp and Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln.
LeMoine earned 57 percent of the vote during voting from Dec. 1-7 at MarshfieldAreaSports.com.
Other nominees for the November award were: Edgar football player Kyle Brewster, Assumption girls basketball player Emily Bohn, and Stratford football player Beau Gross.
LeMoine, a senior wide receiver, set a new program record with 176 yards in a 38-26 loss to Hudson in a WIAA postseason game on Nov. 19. He had nine catches and two touchdowns in the game. LeMoine also caught a pair of touchdowns in a 29-13 win over Stanley-Boyd on Nov. 13, and had seven catches for 44 yards in a loss to Hortonville on Nov. 6. LeMoine was a second-team all-Valley Football Association selection.

LeMoine joins Marshfield Columbus Catholic soccer player Alex Edwards (September), and Marshfield girls swimmer Faith Risa (October) as winners of the award during the 2020-21 school year.
