EDGAR – The Edgar football team scored four first-quarter touchdowns and went on to a 42-0 rout of Marathon in a Marawood Conference game Friday night at Edgar High School.

Karter Butt rushed for 101 yards and three touchdowns to pace the Edgar offense that rushed for 304 yards. Jordan Bunkelman added 99 yards rushing and caught a 65-yard touchdown pass from Mattison Butt for the Wildcats.

Everet Brehm had a 28-yard TD run and Ayden Weisenberger returned an interception for a touchdown as well for Edgar (3-2, 1-1 Marawood Conference).

Edgar plays a nonconference game at Hurley on Friday.
