ATHENS GIRLS BASKETBALL ROLLS TO HOME WIN OVER PITTSVILLE

ATHENS – Jazelle Hartwig had 19 points and seven steals to lead the Athens girls basketball team to a 58-30 nonconference win over Pittsville on Monday night at Athens High School.
Addison Lavicka added 14 points, and Sophia Coker had nine points, eight rebounds, eight steals and four blocked shots in the win for Athens (18-4).
Statistics for Pittsville (11-11) were not provided.
Athens hosts Stratford for a Marawood Conference crossover game on Tuesday before wrapping up its regular-season schedule with a Marawood North matchup at home against Chequamegon.
Pittsville hosts Port Edwards for a Central Wisconsin Conference South Division game Thursday to finish its regular season.
