ATHENS – Connor Sheahan poured in 29 points to lead the Athens boys basketball team to a 76-34 rout of Greenwood in a nonconference game Thursday at Athens High School.
The Bluejays (7-2) rolled out to a 48-13 lead by halftime and finished off the victory with a seven-point advantage in the second half.
Cooper Diedrich added 13 points and Kody Lepak had 12 for Athens, which made nine 3-pointers in the victory.
Athens plays a nonconference game at Nekoosa on Tuesday. Greenwood will play a Cloverbelt Conference East Division game at home against Marshfield Columbus Catholic.
