ARROWHEAD USES BIG FIFTH AND SIXTH INNINGS TO REMAIN UNDEFEATED WITH WIN OVER WAUKESHA NORTH

WAUKESHA – The Arrowhead Warhawks improved to 3-0 on the season after a comeback win over Waukesha North on Thursday night.
Waukesha North opened the scoring in the bottom of the first inning but could not find any more offense after that.
Arrowhead’s offense was quiet until the fifth inning when Thomas Curry tripled to right field scoring Jacob Stevens and Ethan Hindle. During the next at-bat Curry stole home and the Warhawks were off and running and never looked back. Heading into the bottom of the fifth, Arrowhead had built a 4-1 lead.
In the top of the sixth inning Arrowhead flexed their muscles yet again as they scored five more runs all capped off by a JJ Vargas three-run homerun. The Warhawks scored nine runs in the fifth and sixth and won 9-1 over Waukesha North.
On the mound for the Warhawks, Mason Buss pitch three innings and struck out four. Arik Egerbrecht came in in relief and picked up the win only allowing one hit and striking out six.
