ALMOND-BANCROFT DOMINATES SECOND HALF TO DEFEAT LOYAL

ALMOND – Almond-Bancroft came back from a one-point halftime deficit to defeat Loyal 48-34 in a nonconference boys basketball game Monday at Almond-Bancroft High School.


Loyal led 18-17 at halftime before the Eagles dominated the second half, outscoring the Greyhounds 31-16.


Drew Stiglitz had 12 points and Deegan Sandelier added 11 for Loyal (2-4).


Ayden Phillips led Almond-Bancroft (6-2) with 32 points.


Loyal travels to Spencer for a Cloverbelt Conference East Division game on Tuesday.
