ABBOTSFORD – Alea Graff scored 13 points and Sydney Faltesiek added 11 as the Abbotsford girls basketball team improved to 2-0 this season with a 52-32 nonconference win over Colby on Monday night at Abbotsford High School.
The Falcons led 26-15 at halftime and pulled away in the second half as Colby made just nine baskets from the field in the game.
Kya Viegut had 11 points and Brett Schmitt had eight for Colby (1-1).
Both teams return to action with conference games on Tuesday. Abbotsford hosts Athens in a Marawood Conference North Division game and Colby will travel to Marshfield Columbus Catholic in Cloverbelt Conference East Division action. Colby’s game will be live-streamed at zaleskisports.com.
