ABBOTSFORD GIRLS BASKETBALL GRABS ROAD WIN AT GREENWOOD

GREENWOOD – Sydney Falteisek scored 11 of her team-high 15 points in the second half to help the Abbotsford girls basketball team hold off Greenwood 52-46 in a nonconference game Monday at Greenwood High School.
Abbotsford led 26-18 at halftime and was able to hold off the Indians down the stretch to improve to 3-1 this season.
Briseida Escalera added nine points for the Falcons.
Kia Abel had 12 points and Mesa Rasmussen scored 10 for Greenwood (0-3).
Greenwood will play a Cloverbelt Conference East Division game at Loyal on Thursday.
Abbotsford is back in action Friday with a Marawood Conference crossover at Auburndale.
