ABBOTSFORD GIRLS BASKETBALL DOMINATES SECOND HALF, WINS AT PRENTICE

PRENTICE – Following a tight first half, the Abbotsford girls basketball dominated the second and defeated Prentice 52-33 in a Marawood Conference North Division matchup Tuesday at Prentice High School.
The game was tied 22-22 at halftime before the Falcons turned up the defensive pressure and outscored Prentice 30-11 in the second half to pull away.
Sommer Brodhagen had 18 points and Sydney Falteisek added 12 for Abbotsford, which is now 4-2 overall and 2-2 in the Marawood North.
Carissa Harding and Kali Heikkinen each had eight points for Prentice (1-6, 1-4 Marawood North).
Abbotsford hosts Wausau Newman Catholic on Friday in a Marawood Conference crossover game.
