Julianna Ouimette Transfers to UW-Green Bay

GREEN BAY, Wis. - The Green Bay women's basketball program announced today the addition of Julianna Ouimette.

Ouimette (pronounced WIH-MET), a Minocqua, Wisconsin native who attended Lakeland Union High School, comes from Lehigh, where she spent her first collegiate season. She appeared in five contests, totaling 18 minutes of action. In her limited time on the hardwood, she made two of three field goals, grabbed six rebounds, and was an impressive 9-10 from the charity stripe. Ouimette also collected four steals and tallied four assists.

She had a standout career at Lakeland Union, where she was a three-time Player of the Year in her conference. She earned First Team All-Conference honors all four years. Ouimette was a 2,000-point scorer and broke 18 school records. Ouimette earned First Team All-State honors in her junior and senior years. She averaged 21.1 points her senior year and shot a whopping 56.2% from the floor. Ouimette was also a member of the Elite Academic All-State in 2022 and 2023. Additionally, Ouimette played AAU basketball for Flight Elite. In the classroom, she earned honor roll all four years. She also played tennis, where she earned All-Conference honors in 2022 and 2023. Her mom played at Tennessee and Northwestern.
